Storefront search

storefrontincluded in every plan

What it does

Built-in catalogue search (Postgres). Always available; Instant search upgrades it.

No incumbent white-label jewellery platform ships real instant search — this is the headline differentiator your customers feel in the first five seconds. Results appear as they type, under 100 ms, with facets for category, purity, price band, occasion and stones.

The synonym engine understands how India actually shops for jewellery: thali finds mangalsutra, kammal finds earrings, kada finds bracelets — across English, Hindi and Tamil scripts. A customer who types "थाली" gets the same tray of results as one who types "thali".

Your index is tenant-isolated behind a cryptographically scoped search key: your catalogue is never mixed with, or leakable to, any other house on the platform.

How it works in your store

  • As-you-type results with typo tolerance — "jumka" still finds jhumkas
  • Facet filters: category, purity, price band, gender, occasion, stones and your own attributes
  • Vernacular synonym packs (English/Hindi/Tamil) maintained platform-side, extendable per store
  • AI enrichment fills search keywords for every imported piece — approved by you before going live
  • Baseline Postgres search works for every store; the Typesense tier upgrades it to <100 ms instant search
  • Search analytics show what customers looked for and did not find

Questions jewellers ask

Does search work if I do nothing after import?

Yes — imports are indexed automatically and AI-drafted keywords go live once you approve them. There is no search console to configure.

What languages are covered?

The synonym engine ships with English, Hindi and Tamil vernacular jewellery vocabulary, and the platform vocabulary grows continuously. Additional scripts are on the roadmap.

Can other jewellers see my catalogue through search?

No. Your index is fenced by a tenant-scoped key that is cryptographically pinned to your data. The cross-house marketplace search only ever spans stores that explicitly opted in to the marketplace listing.
