Catalogue
What it does
Products, variants, categories
Your catalogue is the digital showroom tray. Every product carries the attributes a jewellery buyer actually shops by — purity (karat), gross and net weight, stones, occasion, gender — and every variant keeps its own weight and price identity, so a 4-gram and a 6-gram version of the same bangle never blur together.
Prices are never typed in as totals. Each piece is priced from the live rate board: metal weight × today's rate + making charges + GST, recomputed whenever the rate moves. Weights live in integer milligrams and money in integer paise, so a catalogue of ten thousand pieces stays arithmetic-exact forever.
After every import, AI enrichment drafts search keywords, facets and vernacular names for each piece — a human approves anything customer-visible before it goes live.
How it works in your store
- Create products with variants (size, weight, stone grade) — each variant carries its own weight and stock
- Purity is structural: 22K/916, 18K/750 — never free text, so filters and pricing always agree
- Live-rate pricing: indicative prices update with the rate board, and every quote is stamped to a rate snapshot
- Categories, collections and occasion tags drive the storefront navigation and instant-search facets
- Per-piece HUID capture links a catalogue listing to the exact hallmarked piece in inventory
- Publish/unpublish per channel: storefront, marketplace listing, or counter-only

Questions jewellers ask
Do I have to retype my catalogue?
No — bulk import takes your existing CSV/XLSX (or photos + voice notes on the concierge plan), and AI enrichment drafts the descriptive fields for your approval.
How do prices stay correct when the gold rate moves?
Prices are computed from weight × the live rate + making charges, not stored as totals. When your rate board updates, every indicative price follows — and every actual sale is re-validated server-side at billing time.
Can I keep some pieces off the website?
Yes. Publication is per piece and per channel — a piece can be counter-only, storefront-visible, or additionally listed on the marketplace.
