Book my gold
What it does
Rate-lock / book at today’s rate
Book My Gold turns rate anxiety into a plan. In its simplest form the customer locks today’s rate with an advance and buys later at the locked rate, even if the market has moved. But the differentiator is the recurring gold plan: the customer commits a small fixed amount on a daily, weekly or monthly cadence, and every debit locks that day’s grams at that day’s published rate — a PhonePe-style "daily gold" habit, run entirely by your house.
This is a rate-locked accumulation plan, deliberately NOT digital gold: your customer is pre-booking grams with you at stamped rates, so it needs no SEBI/RBI digital-gold registration that most independent jewellers do not hold. Compliance is enforced in code — every debit is capped at ₹15,000 (the RBI e-mandate AFA-free ceiling) and every plan at 365 days (12 months). Each debit is rate-stamped into the same append-only, double-entry ledger as everything else, so the accumulated grams are provable to the milligram.
You run the whole lifecycle from the console: enrol a customer, take a debit on the spot with "Collect now", and pause, resume, settle or cancel any plan — with the full per-plan debit history, each row showing the rate it locked. Fully automatic collection turns on the moment you connect your own Razorpay account (UPI AutoPay / subscriptions); until then, staff-driven "Collect now" is the working path, no keys required.
How it works in your store
- One-time lock: a customer locks a gram amount at today’s rate with an advance and a validity window you set
- Recurring plan: a fixed ₹ amount on a daily / weekly / monthly cadence, each debit locking grams at that day’s rate
- Compliance is structural: the ₹15,000 per-debit cap and 365-day plan cap are enforced at creation — a non-compliant plan cannot be made
- Admin lifecycle: enrol, "Collect now", and pause / resume / settle / cancel any plan from the console
- Every lock and debit is rate-stamped in the append-only ledger, with a per-plan history showing each locked rate
- Auto-collect turns on when you connect Razorpay (UPI AutoPay); manual "Collect now" works today

Questions jewellers ask
Is the daily-gold plan the same as digital gold?
No — and that distinction is deliberate. It is a rate-locked accumulation plan: the customer pre-books grams with your house at stamped rates. It needs no SEBI/RBI digital-gold registration, which most independent jewellers do not hold. Digital gold is a separate, optional module with its own SEBI disclosure.
How does auto-pay work — like PhonePe?
Once you connect your own Razorpay account, recurring debits run automatically over UPI AutoPay within the ₹15,000 e-mandate ceiling. Until you add keys, your staff take each instalment with "Collect now" — same rate-stamped ledger, same plan.
What can I do to a running plan?
Pause it, resume it, settle (complete) it, or cancel it — all from the console, and all recorded. The per-plan debit history stays visible with the exact rate each instalment locked, so nothing is ever rewritten.
