Custom domain
What it does
Storefront on the jeweller's own domain
Your storefront should live at your name — www.yourhouse.com — not on someone else's subdomain. Custom domains are provisioned Shopify-style: the console generates the exact DNS records to add, verifies them live, and issues TLS automatically.
You are instantly live at <your-name>.demystify.in while the domain verifies, so there is never a dark moment. Universal Links and App Links are served per tenant, so your iOS/Android apps open your domain's links natively.
How it works in your store
- Add your domain in the console; copy-paste DNS record cards are generated for your registrar
- Automated verification watches for the records and flips the domain live
- TLS certificates are issued and renewed automatically
- Your <name>.demystify.in subdomain works from day one and stays as a fallback
- Universal Links / App Links serve per tenant so your apps own your domain
- Concierge option: we drive the registrar steps with you, or run DNS for you

Questions jewellers ask
Do I need to know DNS?
No — the console shows exactly which records to add, with copy buttons, and verifies them for you. On concierge onboarding we do the registrar steps with you on a call.
Is there downtime while switching?
No — your .demystify.in subdomain keeps serving until the custom domain verifies, then both work.
What about HTTPS?
TLS is issued and renewed automatically the moment your domain verifies — nothing to install or remember.
