Referrals
What it does
Refer-a-friend with gold rewards
Jewellery is bought on trust, and trust travels by word of mouth. Referrals make that word of mouth measurable: existing customers share their link, new customers join, and both sides earn rewards — including gold-gram credits that land straight in the passbook.
Fraud controls are built in: self-referrals are blocked, rewards release on qualifying activity (not mere signup), and every credit is a ledger entry.
How it works in your store
- Each customer gets a personal referral link/code in your app
- Rewards trigger on qualifying activity you define — first purchase or first scheme instalment
- Gold-gram rewards credit the passbook through the ledger, rate-stamped
- Self-referral and duplicate-device abuse are blocked platform-side
- Referral report: invites, conversions, rewards paid

Questions jewellers ask
When does the referrer get rewarded?
On the qualifying event you configure — typically the referred customer's first purchase or first scheme instalment, not mere signup.
Can rewards be gamed?
Platform-side controls block self-referrals and duplicate identities, and rewards only release on real, qualifying activity recorded in the ledger.
What form do rewards take?
Configurable — gold-gram credits to the passbook are the crowd favourite, because they compound the savings relationship.
